Popular websites/software.
I know there's lots of info in random threads here about which software programs and websites you use for making your website, editing pictures, making slideshows, and such, but I thought maybe it'd be helpful to put it all in one place.
The thing that prompted this is the sad fact that Google announced they will be shutting down my favorite pic editing website...Piknik
. I can't afford Photoshop and (as much as I love open source software) Gimp drives me insane and has a huge learning curve. So...does anyone recommend a slick photo editing website or software that's cheap or even better...FREE?

Photoshop elements. It's less than $100 and does what most casual users need.

Try photoscape, I think it will have what you're looking for. It looks a little daunting at first, but it's not that hard to use, PLUS...I think you were looking for the polaroid frames with your pictures? It does that as well. You just have to play around with the original picture size.
I hoped this helped!
