I know they don't all participate, but I never in my life dreamed we would have had this many sign ups after only one year. It is so exciting!

Score! Director's chairs!

Fri Nov 06, 2009 3:21 pm by Lady Jayde

I managed to score two directors chairs...wooden, but light weight for me (thanks to a year and half of strength training) for $60 a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you! I had no idea what I was missing! I definitely prefer to stand and the stools I have are good if I'm sitting and the child is sitting or if I'm painting an adult! Slowly but surely, I'm getting myself together! I got my insura...

Body Painting Practice

Sat Nov 21, 2009 1:08 pm by MandiIlene

So I am always completely jealous of the Wolfe Brothers amazing abilities to blend colors with no lines and their body paintings with the brightest colors imaginable. One day I would like to compete at FABAIC!!

Here is a pic of my latest practice, please critique, I am still having trouble blending the colors seamlessly.

Made my first necklace, thought I'd share.

Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:25 am by JBax

Hello! I pretty much ONLY paint with Wolfe. Nothing else. I heard great things about Diamond FX so I ordered some... I feel exactly like I am using Wolfe!!! Same consistency! So, are they the same? LOL

I really love the Diamond FX colors too!!

Article Help!

Sun Nov 08, 2009 9:43 am by Metina

I want to put together an article for the next newsletter about how to keep business coming in during the slow winter months. It seems as many face painters slow down right after Halloween through Feb or early March with "maybe" a few jobs in Dec for holidays.

What strategies have you used to keep things going until spring? Thanks for your time?

Painting Without My Brain Turned On

Tue Nov 17, 2009 3:19 pm by contrachapado

I was practice painting at home today. I had a cup of tea sitting at the table with me and, you guessed it, wet my brush in my cup of tea. I didn't realize it at first, until I looked in my cup and there was a swirl of blue.

Embarassed

What silly things have you done while painting?

Thu Nov 05, 2009 3:18 pm by PatB

I just ordered my Professional Face Painter Travel Bag (along with a couple other items). I LOVE bags!
I promised myself that I wouldn't order anything until business picked up, but I couldn't refuse. An early Christmas present to myself! santa
