Tie-Dye Arms

Tue Aug 04, 2015 9:23 am by Hoodat Whatzit

So this popped up in my Facebook feed.... In the video, someone says they wait an hour to have this done.

I'm assuming from what the guy says about the paint being washable that he's using some brand of liquid body paint. I wish the video said how much people are paying. Smile

The end result looks like my arm when I first start to wash a practice session off of it!

Has anybody seen or tried this - mont marte body art paint?

Fri Mar 11, 2011 4:40 am by kimskreation

I went into my local discount store today, I love wandering around in there as you never know what you'll find! I was surprised to find a fairly big selection of MONT MARTE art supplies. I already use a few of their brushes for lettering and fine lines. while browsing through I found a shelf full of Body Art Paint, see pic below. Curiosity got the better of me so I thought I would buy one and …

Help!!! Carnival Birthday Party

Sat Mar 11, 2017 7:58 am by ReRe

I'm drawing a blank on designs to come up with for a Carnival themed birthday party for twin boys turning 7 years old. I've have a couple of clowns and a pirate design that I think will work, but I would like some other ideas. I have all the usual designs on my board (super heroes, princesses, butterflies, etc).

Any ideas?

Tips for working for tips!

Mon Jun 16, 2014 6:02 pm by Forest-Fairy

So i've been reading some newer and older threads in here, one in particular that was started back in 2009 and died in 2011. I've been reading some about how some painters just aren't making any tips, or that they NEVER work for tips because it's not worth it. I have some insights and I thought this might be a good idea for a new thread!

On to the meat and potatoes
Like i said I was reading how …

Disinfecting face paints?

Fri Nov 02, 2012 9:34 am by fezinafelina

My day job is counseling mothers of infants about breastfeeding. I go to homes, the hospital and the health department to help with everything from latch, to nipple damage to pumping and this involves being in contact with bodily fluids so infectious disease is something I think about all the time and this concern has carried over into my face painting business.
I have developed a little routine …

Got a text. The grammar was a little off, but I am in an ethnically diverse area...FLORIDA, so I wasn't suspicious at first.
YES, I accept credit cards, but only after you pay a non-refundable booking fee either in cash or by check. When your check clears, the event is booked. You may pay using SQUARE at the event.
- He texted that square would "...not remit."
- ignored my request for his email …

Recommended Paints for dark skin

Tue Jan 17, 2017 4:48 pm by Emily387

I have my first event and I am painting in a school with many Somali kids. Can everyone recommend paints that show nicely on dark skin. I want ALL the kids to be happy. Specific brands and colors would be great!
