Newbie from London saying " hello everyone!"

I am a full time hospital admin staff and a part time cake decorator. I saw a face painter at work at one of the parties I delivered a cake to and I thought to myself "I bet I can do that". The following weekend I signed up to a tutorial class and I have been practising ever since... well that was just last month... Very Happy
I have been watching loads of tutorial on youtube, I am in love with a lady there.. Lisajoyyoung and when she mentioned this forum I signed on sharpish.
I am coming to the US next week and would love to do a lot of shopping, I wonder where you would consider a one-stop face painter's shop in Orlando, Florida( yes you guessed right we are coming to Disneyland)
I went through the minefield of type of brushes,paint and sponges to buy and I have settled for a bit of everything really,
but I will still appreciate any advise. I have a few pics I will upload.

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of face painting and a fantastic forum! SillyFarm is about a 3+ hour drive from Orlando but they do have a little showroom and will probably even demo on your kids for you! Very Happy They are absolutely lovely folks and you will want to eat everything in their showroom drawers as if you were in a candy store, lol!

Are you staying in a rental villa by chance? I HIGHLY recommend www.valhallavillas.com if you are in need of a place. We are there at least once a year for 3-4 years now and couldn't be happier. If you are going to be in Orlando a week or more you should have enough time for Metina who owns this forum to ship an order from the forum shop (link at the top of the forum). She is SUPER fast on shipping and her prices and selection are terrific! I don't know, maybe she does ship to London? I love you
